About Killer Hobbies

Killer Hobbies was started on January 1 of 2005 in an effort to make shopping for RC products easier and faster and to provide the best customer service. We always work to make every customer happy by offering some of the lowest prices on the Internet and by listening to what you want. We continue to grow and offer more items everyday, and if you don't see something on our web site, send us an email and we'll try to stock it. Our hours of operations are Monday-Friday 10am-5pm Central time. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Please let us know if there is anything you want that we don't have on our web site by clicking on the Contact Us link at the top of the page, or if you just have a general question or comment.

Ordering Information

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and USPS Money Orders!

Order Status

If your order is $100 or more, we will only ship your order to your billing address. If you want your order shipped to an alternate location, please make sure that location is listed with your credit card company as an alternate shipping address and then email us their phone number so we can verify it. If an order is flagged because the billing address does not match the shipping address, your order WILL be delayed unless the alternate shipping address is listed on your account with your credit card company. Your credit card company should be willing to help as this is now a common practice. Our customer service representatives will follow up on the order by calling the credit card company and verifying the shipping address. International orders will ONLY ship to the credit card billing address. Please put your credit card company phone number in the Special Notes field before final checkout.

You will automatically receive an email notification confirming your order and another email when your order has shipped. If you don't receive an order confirmation email, then your email address was entered incorrectly, your mailbox is full, or your SPAM filters are blocking our emails. Please be sure your email address is correct. Please create an account if you'd like the ability to check on your order's status and to retrieve your tracking numbers.

Previous Orders and Account Information

To view previous orders you have placed, click on My Account and then on Past Orders. You might need to change the Order date fields to view orders before the last 60 days. You can now select whether or not you want to receive our promotional emails and Newsletters by going to the My Account link, selecting the Modify Account link, and then selecting the Promotional Emails checkbox.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is only charged to orders sent to customers in the states of Alabama, Illinois, and California.


Shipping Information

Orders will ship the next business day from when the order was placed. If you are placing an international order, we will only ship to the billing address on the order.  If you place an order on Friday, the order will be shipped the following Monday.  We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. UPS does not pickup packages on Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays. If you place an order on a Wednesday and choose 2nd Day Air, the package will be shipped out Thursday and will not be delivered until Monday.

Domestic UPS Delivery Times:

UPS Ground - 1-6 business days

UPS 2nd Day Air - 2 business days

UPS Next Day Air - Next business day

Below is the UPS Ground map showing guaranteed delivery times for your state from our Alabama warehouse. If you choose UPS Ground and you live in Mississippi for example, your package will be delivered in 1 business day. If you live in Kansas and you choose UPS Ground, your package will be delivered in 2 business days, and so on.




International USPS Delivery Times:

USPS First-Class Mail International - 4 - 30 days. (These packages cannot be tracked but are insured!)

USPS Priority Mail International - 4 - 30 days. (These packages can be tracked and are insured!)

USPS Express Mail International (EMS) - 3 - 30 days. (These packages can be tracked and are insured.)

(If your order has not arrived after 45 days, we will need to file an insurance claim. That usually takes 7 business days to process. Replacement orders will not be sent out until the claim process is complete.)

International UPS Delivery Times:

UPS Worldwide Expedited - 2-5 business days

UPS Worldwide Express - 1-2 business days

We ship to many countries. If your country is not listed while trying to check out, please send us an email and we'll add your country. We current DO NOT ship to Malaysia, Mexico, Indonesia, or the Philippines because of the high fraud rates.

International Orders

Our international postage charges are based on the size and weight of the package. To determine the cost of shipping to an international destination simply place the items you wish to order in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. You should see the shipping charge before having to enter your credit card information.

International customers will be responsible for any local taxes and customs duties charged by their local customs office. Please see your local authorities for more information. Please do not request that we falsify invoices or supress tariff codes or country-of-origin information. Please do not request that we mark the package as a gift since that would be illegal. If a package comes back to us as unclaimed or refused, we will only refund the order amount minus the shipping charges. We will only ship international orders to the credit card billing address used on the order.

Please note that some manufacturers will not honor warranty claims for customers outside of the USA and Canada (HPI, in particular).



Killer Hobbies Return Policy and Warranty Information

We at Killer Hobbies appreciate your business and trust. Following are our warranty and return policies:

RETURNS

Returns may be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. To return any merchandise, you must first obtain an RMA# by emailing sales@killerhobbies.com. Place the term "RMA" in the subject line with your invoice number and reason for return and someone from Killer Hobbies will send a reply email with your RMA number. When you receive this email, send your item back with the RMA# clearly visible on the package to:

Refunds can only be issued on NEW UNOPENED merchandise. Used merchandise will NOT be accepted for return. As stated below, all products are warranted by their manufacturers. Shipping charges are NOT refundable. Please inform us immediately if you notice any items missing or damaged during shipping. We do not honor claims made after 30 days from the shipping date.

Product Warranties

All products we sell are warranted by and subject to their manufacturers stated warranty. We at Killer Hobbies will try to help whenever we can to satisfy any problems you may have, but ultimately, our products are warranted by their manufacturers ONLY.

Security and Privacy

We offer secure online ordering using strong SSL encryption software. When entering your personal information, look for the "https" in the url line (the "s" indicates a secure line) and for the lock or key symbol at the bottom of your screen. We will not use personal information for solicitation purposes.
